Step #1 - Identify a problem The hardest part of writing a good article is getting started. Finding a topic to write about. Choosing a niche to focus your attention. Here are some idea generators: * pick up the newspaper or a magazine and scan headlines * check out online discussion forums and notice hot topics * subscribe to other newsletters and see what they're writing about * go to search engines and check out their most popular searches * visit Amazon.com and look at their list of best-sellers And when you're doing your research, remember to watch out for problems. What are people having trouble with? What issues are they looking to have solved? For instance, when I set out to create this short tutorial, I looked to see what online marketers were finding difficult about article marketing. Then, I made a list of their biggest problems - and set out to solve them with these short articles. You can do it too. Once you've got an idea for an article, go on to the next step.
